I’ve spent time writing about baby toys you can’t live without, interactive baby toys, the baby ball, and baby jumpers but something big was missing. So, I’ve finally went out and bought my son the Little People Farm. So far it’s a HUGE hit! Before we dive into the toy though, here is a quick Little People backstory and fyi…

Fisher Price Little People

Fisher Price Little People have been a staple of children’s lives for as long as I can remember. Originally introduced to the market as Play Family People in the 1960’s they are now one of the most well known and beloved toys. If you’re a collector or just particularly nostalgic you can find a mass of little people options old and new on Amazon and Ebay. The classic ones can often cost a bit more than new ones. This is good if you ever decide to sell your toys as you can make back a pretty good penny. Be sure to keep this in mind before you toss them into your designated garage sale boxes.

The Fisher Price Farm Set

My son is just over 1 years old. He is now just old enough to start really playing with the Little People sets. I had already started introducing him to the toy with some of my daughters’ old Little People toys & the small but awesome Fisher-Price Little People Vehicle Mail Truck. He couldn’t get enough of the Little People Mail Truck so I got the Little People Farm as soon as a deal came out at Target. Little People Caring for Animals Farm to be exact!

Little People Caring For Animals Farm

Fisher Price Little People Caring for Animals Farm – Product Description

Farmer Jed works very hard to care for all his animals on the Little People® Caring for Animals Farm, and he would love some help from your tiny farmer. Toddlers will love learning how to take care of all their animal friends, from feeding the chickens to tucking in the horse with a soft blanket, and exploring all the exciting activities on this farm. Get the fun started by pressing the discovery button to pop open the stall doors and hear fun songs and phrases. Or open up the hayloft for drop-through fun that activates more sounds and phrases! Then little farmers can press the discovery button to “hatch” the chicks, turn the silo to rotate the corn crop (pop pop pop!), and so much more! Ding ding ding—ring the bell to let all the animals know it’s dinnertime, then feed some of the corn to the chickens!

This activity-packed Little People farm playset is more than just a farm—it’s a home for all your toddler’s new friends.

My Sons Take on the Little People Farm

He’s absolutely loving it! Some of the functions of the bigger toys are a little beyond his current skill level such as turning the silo. The bell, weather vane, buttons, doors, drop through hay loft & included figures keep him plenty busy though. He loves “feeding” the animals. Another five star winner for Fisher Price Little People!
