Two of the Best Interactive Baby Toys

Now that my son is older I’ve been interested in finding the best interactive baby toys for 6 months to 12 months and up. I find that interactive toys are some of his favorites.
When he’s not in his playpen it’s also nice to have a toy that is easy to hold on the couch with him. I like finding good multi-tasking toys that keep him busy for a while and that he might develop some fine motor skills from. If he tosses the toy in the first five minutes then I worry I’ve wasted my money because he usually doesn’t end up preferring that toy later either.

The Best Interactive Baby Toys

VTech Interactive Baby Toys – Activity Cubes

I’ve found that VTech has one of the best interactive baby toys with the VTech Busy Learners Activity Cube. It comes in three different versions (linked above) so you can pick which one is best for your budget or child’s age. They come in both neutral colors as well as some pink and purple shades. This toy has 5 sides of play that encourage discovery and exploration. There is 4 light-up buttons to introduce animal names, animal sounds, and shapes. In total it has 14 interactive features that develop fine motor skills and assists babies with sitting up to play. The motion sensor activates fun sounds when the VTech Busy Learners Activity Cube is moved to attract attention and encourage crawling. Best of all… it has an adjustable volume for mom’s piece of mind 🙂

There is no doubt that this is one of the best interactive baby toys for 6 months to 12 months and up. He’s been playing with it consistently for months now and getting better at it so I truly see the development!

Fisher Price interactive baby toys are also winners. I’ve found the Fisher-Price Monster Pop Up Surprise to be another one of the best interactive baby toys for 6 months to 12 months old. It is simple but adorable. This type of toy has been around for a while but Fisher-Price has a creative fresh take with the monster theme. It’s a surprisingly good workout for fine motor skills and a whole lot of exciting fun! It’s a great start for learning colors and numbers. It also initializes some good thinking skills. As my son discovered all the ways to make the monsters pop up, he was introduced to cause & effect. My girls also loved playing with this toy when they were babies.
