One of my first blog articles a couple months ago included a beginners list to wire wrapping tools. I mentioned that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on a pair of  Xuron 450 Tweezer Nose Pliers. Finally, I ordered a pair on Amazon and I could not be more excited! The tweezer nose tips on the Xuron Pliers are much narrower and better suited for wire working than my old pairs.

Xuron Pliers: Tweezer Nose

At the time of this writing I was able to get these tweezer nose Xuron Pliers for only $11 on Amazon. What a steal! At such a cheap price you are probably wondering why it took me so long to get them? Well, my wire working wish list is decently long… ha ha. While I dreamed of having these Xuron Pliers they weren’t something I absolutely needed since I had two other (inferior) pairs. I’ve been following quite a few YouTube tutorials and lessons in using the wire working tutorial books I have. Most of these require certain materials to complete specific projects so the little extra craft money I save from living expenses keeps going there. Consequently, this awesome tool kept getting kicked off the shopping list.

Amazon finally put a coupon out on Xuron tools and I couldn’t hold back anymore. Into my shopping cart they went and two days later these awesome pliers were in my hands!

The Next Item on my Wish List

Next on my wish list is experimenting with Parawire brand craft wire. It comes in a variety of colors and shapes. My favorite wire wrapping YouTuber OxanaCrafts has been using primarily square and half-round wire lately and I haven’t gotten to try it yet. She also uses the Xuron brand tools so once I get the right shape of wire I will be all set.

For all those who are also interested, Amazon does carry a small selection of Parawire but to find pretty much any kind you need then FusionBeads.com has the best selection. For beading tools though I still find that Amazon is the best choice. The Xuron 450 Tweezer Nose Pliers were nearly half the price as FusionBeads and others.

In closing, please be sure you’re following OxanaCrafts if you’re interested in wire wrapped jewelry. She makes such amazing pieces and is the one who inspired me to go this direction with my jewelry making.

Have you tried Xuron Pliers before? I’d love to hear your reviews in the comments below!
